Hint of Mint

As I mentioned in the previous post, I recently acquired a Victorian haircomb. Whilst choosing my first haircomb I had a hard time going against my inherent attraction towards black things. I found some really beautiful black combs, but of course their beauty would be lost in my black hair. So instead, I settled for this rather discreet, pretty little silver comb. The outfit is nothing too exciting; my grey cardigan I've been wearing to death and a minty green vest (which I've shown on the blog before in lilac and black). The trousers I bought last weekend for a tenner. I love them; perfectly slim fitting with a high-rise waist and a side zip, oh and cheap! The cut kinda reminds me of matador trousers. Today's purse is a recent purchase. My love of Liberty of London bags is well documented on the blog, especially when decorated with the Ianthe print. I couldn't resist this little monochromatic silk purse which converts into a clutch. Close-ups of it are at the bottom of this post...

Shoes (Kurt Geiger), bag (Liberty of London), cardigan (Topshop), trousers (H&M), vest (Primark)

I've just discovered your little website here, it's wonderful
Your style is finally a breath of good'ol vintage air, but 10 times better than the traditional 50s and 60s.
Your outfits are very nice, & that hair, is badass!
But your style, is amazing and unique !

This look also reminds me of when I was a kid and I would eat chocolate chip mint at Baskin Robins,, year round.

  18. I saw ur post on citizen couture if you were a really big fan of Edita you'd know shes in MANY campaigns/eds this year.. in fact she snagged already 6 campaigns THIS season ALONE and had over 10 editorials this year all in high class magazines as well.. as a VOGUE cover..

  19. Why thankyou anonymous for such enlightenment. I, of course, was happy to see her on the cover of VOGUE Germany, as well as in various campaigns this season ALONE. My comment on citizen couture was merely expressing a wish to see her get a lot more work, as I feel she is an underused resource. Obviously she is not nearly as established as say Natasha, Sasha or Lily, which saddens me as I think she is stunning. So please, no need for the excessive use of CAPITALS, nor the condescending tone. Getting your knickers is a twist over my comment just isn't worth it.
